Taylor joined the Chef Ann Foundation team in April 2024 and serves as the organization’s Senior Coordinator of Workforce Programs Funding. 

Taylor has a background in food systems work and comes to the Chef Ann Foundation with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Bluffton University. Taylor believes that food is a pivotal piece of Public Health as it impacts individual, community, and environmental health. By providing locally-sourced, scratch-cooked meals in schools we have the power to address health and economic disparities that have likely existed for generations. 

Outside of work, you can find Taylor at her local bouldering gym, on a trail, or in a thrift store - most likely with a coffee in hand.

Why School Food Matters

American kids start their life-path in K–12 schools where they learn the skills necessary to thrive & meet their potential. While the country debates the best ways to teach them math, science & English, we spend little to no time on food & nutrition.
