Mona Lindsey

Director of Accounting

Mona is the Director of Accounting for the Chef Ann Foundation and she joined the team in May 2023. She graduated from California State University, Northridge with a degree in Business Administration and Accounting. Mona started out her career in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles.

Since those days in California, she has lived in Philadelphia, PA; Portland, OR as well as England and worked in a variety of industries in both for profit companies and not-for-profit organizations. She has finally settled where her soul feels at home; at the Chef Ann Foundation and within a stone’s throw of the beach in Hollywood, FL.

When she’s not crunching numbers or dealing with the ever-changing complexities of accounting, Mona spends her time with the sand between her toes, pursuing her love of yoga and watching as many sunsets as she can.

Who We Are

The Chef Ann Foundation is dedicated to promoting whole-ingredient, scratch-cooking in schools. Scratch-cooking enables schools to serve the healthiest, tastiest meals so that kids are well-fed and ready to learn.

Our Mission

Ensure that school food professionals have the resources, funding and support they need to provide fresh, healthy, delicious, cook from scratch meals that support the health of children and our planet.

Why School Food Matters

American kids start their life-path in K–12 schools where they learn the skills necessary to thrive & meet their potential. While the country debates the best ways to teach them math, science & English, we spend little to no time on food & nutrition.
